BIO

I love writing dystopian novels for young and new adults. My debut series includes The City Center, The Mainframe, The Torrent and The New Agenda. I also have a collection of short stories called Voices of the Apocalypse.

I grew up in Kensington, Maryland - a small town just outside of Washington D.C. As a young girl, I spent a lot of time writing in journals and making up stories, but after reading S.E. Hinton's The Outsiders, everything changed. Amazed that a woman could write so convincingly from a teenage boy's perspective, I wanted to be a writer as well. When I'm not writing, I'm reading. Or thinking about writing.
